Unfortunately, there were only 3 participants today, myself, Mike and Richard; the lowest turnout I think we’ve ever had for a work party. However, despite the heavy fog which hardly lifted, the conditions were ideal for the task in hand. We planted 71 whips in good soil at the NE corner. Because there were so few of us we were unable to take up any water, which was unfortunate as the whips could have benefited from a watering.
