We beat the weather today, after a succession of cancelled work parties due to storms and snow/ice. The rain and strong winds today kept away until after we had finished. 9 participants set about retrieving some recently fallen trees and branches to replace lengths of path edging along the northern path and round the north-eastern corner. Some decent lengths of edging were found, and other stems and branches were cut into short lengths and sharpened to provide stakes for holding down the new edging and replacing rotten or missing stakes on some existing edging. Although there is more to be done, the path along there is now more clearly defined. In addition, David did some stone spreading on the eastern path and Bill toured the site without finding any fallen trees that needed shifting from paths. Thanks to all.
