As 6 of us headed up the hill this morning, the sole aim was to plant 50 Hawthorn whips, kindly donated by TCV, before the wind picked up and the rain came. We succeeded in doing this without getting wet and before the wind strengthened too much. In fact it was surprisingly sheltered along much of the western path, where we planted up a number of small gaps. During the coffee break we saw a Red Kite flying south over the field. Thanks to all
