Over the summer the Friends of Sharphill Wood and other groups were invited to take part in a forum and to do a 10 minute presentation about Sharphill Wood Nature Reserve. What the friends do and what we as a group have achieved over the last 5-6 years at Sharphill Wood.
Chrissie who is a founder member of the group had recently written and delivered a power point presentation to the local area forum and agreed to take the lead and deliver our group talk. This took place at the Rushcliffe Nature conservation Forum on the 27/09/14, at the National Water Sports Centre at Holme Pierrepont. It was a privilege to be invited to take part in this event as The Friends of Sharphill Wood won the Rushcliffe award for Nature Conservation 2013.
