Some of you may be familiar with the excellent novels written by the Berkshire born author and journalist T.M. Logan, who spent some time working for first Nottingham Evening Post and then for the University of Nottingham.
Some of his books are set in Nottingham and the East Midlands and they are really very good. The Curfew was set in Beacon Hill Wood AKA Sharphill Wood! His children used to use the Wood as a playground.
Tim has very kindly agreed to be an honorary Friend of Sharphill Wood. In his own words he is glad that someone is taking care of the Wood. We are honoured!
